Please! Shiki is extremely easy to get along with and fairly low maintenance. He will want to go out and do a LOT of things with friends, but there's no serious repercussions for turning him down or anything. Between being kinda scatterbrained and generally unaccustomed to positive interaction, he might occasionally misstep, but he rarely makes a true faux pas and it tends to add to his easygoing nature. He's also fairly encouraging, despite having little motivation himself.


I guess? I don't have anything specific in mind, but I'm sure there are people who might not get along with Shiki, and vice-versa. I imagine he'd trend toward cold with such people, but if their animosity is great enough he could be provoked to more visible anger. Idk I never considered this haha.


My only real request is to go about it organically. I can't tell you how many times I've plotted a romance with someone only to discover I didn't like the dynamic once we were In It. Anyway, Shiki himself is a fairly versatile love interest. He's hardly a Casanova but I'm sure he'd trend toward being a bit flirty toward people he feels close with. Might cause misunderstandings? He'd treat his lover like he treats his friends, which is to say he'd want to have fun times with them and share that fun. He's probably more inclined to be affectionate in private than in public, but if the latter is cool with his SO then he will absolutely go for it. Otherwise he might just stick to occasional teasing when he thinks he can get away with it.



Shiki is fairly present in online communities. His closest friends tend to be foreign, but he's gotta have a few in Japan too, right? I think it'd be cool if he was a long time web friend with someone in Inaba. We can discuss the exact nature, I'm pretty open. Anyway just now and then I'd like threads where they're talking online. I doubt they'd share any plot relevant info, since he'd keep his persona shenanigans secret from his buddy and I'm sure the reverse is true as well. But now and then they could talk about current events from a non-supernatural standpoint, or just shoot the breeze. Also they might arrange to meet if/when they find out they're actually fairly close now. It's whatever.

Might be fun to also have a friend in Okina, either knowingly or otherwise. Could be a Toriumi situation where neither of them know they're in the same city, or they could be long-time buds who agree to meet since he's just moved in. Again, I'm open.
