EAGER HERO
A young man or woman transferring to Mankai Academy due to their high GPA. Excited to begin the new year, they're pondering what clubs to join. Has an outgoing nature. (Arcana: Fool)
NEWSPAPER CLUB HEAD (AKIRA TOWA)
The group's cool-headed leader, part of the cover-up "Newspaper Club" and the head of its real goal- dangerous Shadow extermination. The son/daughter of a corporate leader in a conglomerate with the Kirijo group, they have intricate knowledge of Shadows and how to combat them. (Already has a Persona)
CUTE FIRST-YEAR
A contrast to their strict older sibling, the younger of the two has a sweet and endearing personality to keep morale high all the time. They're always the one encouraging the group, and they are one of the few who actually likes journalism. (Already has a Persona)
TRANSFER STUDENT (SHIKI KAKUMA)
Another student who is transferring to Mankai, but because of a parent's job being changed locations rather than for grades. In fact... they're not really considered the brightest, and are already the butt of school jokes.
SCHOOL IDOL
The most popular student around, being in local movie-making business as an actor/actress has really helped their reputation. They're a little naive and melodramatic, but their crocodile tears are cute and only gain them more fans.
-THE TOASTER BRIGADE-
UNIT 00
A preliminary ASSW unit in a specific line meant as a test dummy. They're extremely strong and can activate Orgia without a hitch, but are prone to sudden shutdowns afterwards. Researchers are shocked that this unit has not yet lost a duel, but their Plume of Dusk is small and they have trouble processing deeper emotion.
UNIT 13
A slightly more advanced ASSW unit that has not yet lost a battle, either. Meant as a unit capable in combat with only a Persona, their Plume of Dusk is above-average in size. Due to this, they are very human-like in nature- almost detrimentally so. They are a pacifist and will not do battle with human or robotic opponents- only Shadows.
UNIT 28
A very recent ASSW unit that was just created weeks ago. Still unable to form and process many memories, they are developing with a rare Plume that seems to occasionally shift in size and density, leading to outbursts of emotion while normally staying stoic. They're meant to harness only the "useful" parts of a human psyche along with only the most advanced Anti-Shadow weaponry, and are very warlike. Permanent memories may change this facet.
KIND RESEARCHER
A young scientist and recent college graduate working in the field of robotics. Prized for their intellect, they do not yet realize that their human-like models are being pit against one another in tournaments to destroy weaker units. They're being used by higher-ups to create artificial life that could potentially be utilized to neutralize threats, both human and Shadow.
