It was a crazed man’s promise to a girl that did not exist… at least, not in his universe. An obsession with a made-up girl and her cat sidekick transformed into a wizard’s sole driving force to gather magical relics of legend in hopes of bringing his beloved fanfiction to life. Little did he know, The Adventures of Fionna and Cake were more than just the scribbles on a page.
Once all of the relics were finally brought together, their magic resonated deep within the crevices of the Ice King’s castle, creating a quake the likes of which could be felt within all of the Land of Ooo. This was it! This was the moment he had been waiting for, all of his hard work culminating into this final glorious instant! His massive shrine to the girl and the cat shattered into a mosaic of ice and he was convinced that they would be left standing there in its place. And then…
Nothing.
Little did he know that buried deep in the multiverse, the alternative Land of Ooo exists just as the Ice King envisioned. A world running parallel to where Finn and his pal Jake bring peace to the realm. The magic punched a hole through the very fabric of the multiverse, creating a one-way portal that connects the two Ooo’s. A void swirls and churns within the great hole in the middle of the world, threatening to suck all of Fionna’s world through.
