Make a note of the fact that the Arcana you choose will have an impact on your stats. Each character naturally starts out with 80 HP, 40 SP, 5 Strength, 5 magic, 5 endurance, 5 mind, 5 agility and 5 luck. You have 120 points to distribute among your HP and SP, and another 30 to evenly distribute among your base stats. After that, factor in your Arcana- it'll subtract two from your Arcana flawed stat and add two to your Arcana boosted stat. If the flaw or boon is to HP or SP, add or subtract 10 points.
As for Personality Values, you naturally start with a base rank of 2 in each one. You can choose one stat to boost to 3 and one stat to flaw to 1 along with the boons and flaws given by your Arcana.
Finally, you have your Persona in general. Note that the Yasogami kids tend to have Eastern-influenced Persona, while the Okina ones tend to have Western-influenced ones.
